B.tech is basically bachelor of technology course affiliated with a technical background. B.tech is the skill-oriented course. Apart from B.Tech, there is another course namely B.E. Perspective of both is the same, only the purpose is different. B.E/B.tech is the four-year undergraduate programme provided for students who want to pursue a career in the technical field.

The aerospace engineers responsible for the research, design & production of aircraft, spacecraft, missiles and aerospace equipment. Petroleum Engineering is the 4-year undergraduate engineering course related to the production of hydrocarbons, which can be either crude oil or natural gas. Petroleum engineers should have to work with geologists, contractors. Some of the positions offered to petroleum engineers are Reservoir engineer, Technical support engineer for the petroleum segment, petroleum technologist, senior geoscientist etc.
B.Tech in agriculture engineering is basically for those students, who have a vast interest in the agriculture field. It is the course which mainly focuses on creation and development of tools of farm machinery in case of an agricultural field. Water resource management, forestry, urban and rural development crop storage, and processing are the basic functional areas for agriculture engineer.
B.Tech in food technology deals with techniques and principles involved a study of processing and preserving the food substances. Food technologists are in demand in sectors such as hotels, quality control, soft drink factories, packaging industries, hospitals etc.
B.Tech in marine engineering deals with nautical architecture and science. Marine Engineering is basically all about construction and maintenance of ships and sailing vessels. The demand of marine engineers in public and private sector companies has risen sharply, with an increase in international global sea traffic.
B.Tech in biotechnology focuses on a study of applications related to biological systems or living organisms. Biotechnologist can be employed in pharmaceutical companies food industries, chemical and agricultural industries.
B.Tech in Textile Engineering is the study of textile production, manufacturing of various types of fabrics, a principle of engineering with basics of textile equipment. The graduates in this field are employed in various textile plants and companies varying from small to large scale departments.
B.Tech in nanotechnology is the 4-year undergraduate course in nanotechnology. The candidate having a strong interest in molecular, atomic research can prefer nanotechnology course for career perspective. Candidate having domicile of Maharashtra state. Candidates completing SSC/HSC/Bachelor of Science courses from a recognized institution of Maharashtra state.
A candidate who does not belong to type A but the nominee( Mother/Father) having the domicile of Maharashtra state.
A candidate who does not belong to type A or type B but whose Father/Mother is an employee of Government of India.
A candidate who does not belong to type A, type B & type C but whose Father/Mother is a retired employee of Government of Maharashtra.
A candidate who completed 12th examination from recognizing institution located on Maharashtra Karnataka Border area.
Candidate having an Indian nationality are applicable under this category.
Candidate belonging to minority cast notify by the government of Maharashtra are eligible for this category.
The candidates who are displaced from Jammu & Kashmir to any other part of India. The candidates whose Father/Mother are IAS/IPS/IFS officers.
Syllabus of MHT-CET includes 80% weightage of class 12th curriculum and 20% weightage of Class 10th curriculum.
B.tech is the four-year undergraduate degree awarded to students who want to pursue a career in the technical field. M.E/M.tech are the advanced courses available after completing B.tech. The candidate with 12th pass having minimum 50% aggregate is the basic criteria for B.tech education. The salary offered for candidates after B.tech is about 15,000 to 25,000 per month.
