Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) was established in 1 May,1948.
The Institutions is responsible for providing pool of specialists and super-specialists to the Armed Forces by giving them in-service training.
The college is located in environment-friendly campus having an area 119 acres near Ramtekri in Eastern Pune. Training is given to the students at affiliated teaching hospitals.The AFMC has produced more than 6500 doctors since 1966. It has produced more than 1000 nursing officers for military nursing services.

The candidates should have to clear Higher secondary (10+2) or equivalent education with minimum 60% for general category (50% for reserved candidates).
The candidate applying for admission to AFMC should be an Indian National.
The candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on December 31,2017.
Candidate applying for the course must be unmarried.
Admission Procedure (AFMC MBBS Course)
The document verification will be done to ascertain the eligibility criteria of the candidate.
Once the candidate is found eligible for admission, he/she will have to deposit the given fees.
Eligible candidates who are interested to join AFMC MBBS course, will have to mandatorily register and apply on website: www.mcc.nic.in.
The candidates is required to pay whole fees during the course of admission.
