Uzhhorod is a city in western Ukraine, the authoritative centre of the Zakarpattia area, is a city on the Uzh River situated around 800 km west of Kyiv, on the outskirt with Slovakia. The number of population in Uzhhorod is around 113,000 (2016), the territory - 65 sq. km.
On the region of Uzhhorod, the remaining parts of ancient settlements were found. The most established of them existed over 100,000 years prior. A great deal of clans and people groups went through the region of the present city: the Huns, Avars, Burgundy Dacians, Celts, Sarmatians.
The colleges, historical centers, medieval houses of worship and churches. The principle fascination is the old castle situated in the historical part of the city.
The neighborhood atmosphere is a standout amongst the most positive in all Ukraine with short mellow winters and long cool summers. There are a great deal of parks and open gardens in Uzhhorod including one greenhouse of national significance, 10 parks-landmarks of scene workmanship, and in addition two organic landmarks of nature and two hydrological landmarks of nature.
