How to Download the INI CET 2025 Admit Card?

In order to download the admit card, students need to follow the steps given below: 

  • Go to the official site, i.e. aiimsexams.ac.in
  • Select "Academic Courses'
  • Click on the option named “INI CET (MD/MS/MCh/DM)” 
  • Enter registration ID, password, EUC code, and solve the captcha code,8 then hit the log in button on the candidate login page.
  • The INI CET Admit Card for the January 2026 session is going to be displayed on the screen.

What is INI CET Examination?

INI-CET is the abbreviation of the name Institutes of National Importance Combined Entrance Test. Admission to postgraduate medical cells (MD, MS, DM, MCh, MDS) of any of the participating Institutes of National Importance in India including AIIMS, PGIMER, and NIMHANS, requires a single entrance examination (E). The test takes place twice every year and consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) on topics of the undergraduate medical course. 

  • Full Form: Institutes of National Importance Combined Entrance Test. 
  • Purpose: It is the entrance examination for medical postgraduate (PG) courses. 
  • Institutions: The institutions that are admitted to include the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and other institutions such as the PGIMER and the NIMHANS. 
  • Frequency: It is administered twice every year, in the January and July sessions. 
  • Exam Format: The exam will be in the form of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) of undergraduate medical topics.

What is the Exam Format of INI CET?

The INI CET exam is a test of duration 3 hours (180 minutes) with a multiple-choice format. It has 200 questions consisting of four parts of 50 questions each. All the sections are limited to a 45-minute time and may not be revisited after being completed. The test consists of a negative mark system, +1 on a right response, -1/3 on an incorrect Single Best Answer (SBA) type, and -1/5 on an incorrect Multiple True-False (MTF) type.
