JEE Main 2026 Exam Pattern
JEE Main 2025 is a three-paper exam aimed at different courses. Paper 1 is for students who intend to undertake B.E./B.Tech. course and the questions are based on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics - a total of 90 questions, of which 75 are to be answered.
In the case of architecture aspirants, Paper 2A (B.Arch) involves testing Mathematics, Aptitude, and Drawing skills, whereby the question paper will have 82 questions, 77 of which the candidate must attempt. The students to the courses in planning will meanwhile apply in Paper 2B (B.Planning), which will be in Mathematics, Aptitude, and Planning-based questions, 105 questions of which 100 should be answered.

JEE Main 2026 Counselling
Following the declaration of results, JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) conducts the counselling process to get admission in various institutes in NITs, IIITs, GFTIs and also in some of the deemed universities. The entire counselling process is online, with candidates registering, inputting college/ courses of interest as well as taking part in several rounds of seat allotment.
