JEE Main 2026 Exam Day Schedule
The NTA has already disclosed the official schedule of the JEE Main 2026, and students are able to plan how they will manage their preparations and application. JEE Main registration has been completed for the session 1 exam, and registration for session 2 is expected to start in late January. JEE Main admit cards is expected to be made available on 17th or 18th January 2026 for session 1. Students must carefully check the JEE Main 2026 eligibility criteria for applicants before applying.
The JEE Main 2026 test dates will be as below:
Session 1: January 2026
Session 2: April 2026
The result of the first session will also be declared by 12th February 2026, and the result of the second session will be declared by 20th April 2026.

JEE Main 2026 Eligibility Criteria
The JEE Main 2026 eligibility criteria for applicants are the same as in previous years. Key points include:
- The applicants must have completed Class 12 (or equivalent) in 2023, 2024, or 2025.
- The required subjects were: Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subjects.
- There is no age limit to JEE Main.
- Admission to IITs, NITs and CFTIs is a requirement of 75 % in Class 12 (65 % in case of SC/ST).
