Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Main) 2026 is one of the significant national-level entrance tests conducted by s (NTA). The JEE 2026 Exam will be conducted throughout the country for admission to top engineering colleges in India. It is also the entry test for the best institutions such as NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, and an entry test for JEE Advanced 2026.

The JEE Main 2026 will be conducted in two sessions. The exam facilitates admission to B.Tech and B.Arch Colleges in India. Candidates are advised to read JEE Main 2026 updates on official notifications. JEE Exam Details and admit card release, application deadlines and exam city intimation slips, which will be broadcast on the official webpage jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Generally, the exam duration of JEE Mains is 3 hrs(180 minutes), it is being conducted twice in a year, and twice in the morning and evening. It consists of 90 questions, out of which 75 questions are required to be attempted by the students. It also has negative marking of -1, and +4 for the right answer.

Download NTA JEE Main Final Answer Key

The NTA released the provisional answer key within a week of the examination. Students can check and match their answers through the answer key. The students have the right to challenge the answer key, if there are any discrepancies in the answer key.


How to Download JEE Mains Answer Key?

To download the JEE Mains Exam answer key, students can follow the following steps.

  • Visit the official website of the NTA.
  • Go to the news and events tab or notice tab.
  • Search for the provisional key link available on the website.
  • Click on the link and download the answer key.


Challenging JEE Mains Answer Key

If students find any discrepancies in the answer key, they have the right to challenge the answer key released by the NTA. The students can challenge the answer key using the separate window released by the NTA.

  • Candidates can challenge the answer key by paying ₹200 per question (non-refundable).
  • Only paid challenges submitted within the given time through the official link will be accepted.
  • Challenges without justification/evidence or sent via email/post/other modes will not be considered.
  • NTA’s decision on challenges is final.
  • Candidates will not be informed individually about the outcome.


Final Answer Key & Result

  • Subject experts will review all valid challenges.
  • A final answer key will be published on the NTA website.
  • Results/NTA Scores will be prepared only on the basis of the final answer key.
  • No grievances regarding answer keys or responses will be accepted after result declaration.
