Arunachal Pradesh NEET PG Seat Matrix 2026 has changed significantly with the introduction of new postgraduate courses at Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (TRIHMS), Naharlagun. The National Medical Commission (NMC) approved 11 MD/MS postgraduate courses at TRIHMS with 24 seats for the new academic session. The approved courses include General Medicine, Paediatrics, General Surgery, Anaesthesiology, Radio Diagnosis, Obstetrics & Gynaecology and several pre-clinical and para-clinical subjects. 

Arunachal Pradesh has only one medical college offering these newly approved MD/MS courses, making its NEET PG 2026  seat matrix much smaller than that of larger states. However, the addition of 24 MD/MS seats is an important expansion because the state had previously relied heavily on DNB programmes for postgraduate medical training.
