Education Minister Sunil Kumar stated that 85.19% of students have passed the Bihar Board Class 12 (Inter) examination in 2026. 

• 86.23% of girls passed
• pass percentage for boys stood at 84.29%.

He also mentioned that girls topped in Arts and Commerce streams, while a boy secured the top position in the Science stream. A total of 26 students achieved top ranks, out of which 19 are girls.

The minister added that the results have been published in a completely transparent manner.
