Despite being scored as "moderate" overall, many students felt that the paper was a little more difficult than the time before.  Students had to complete application-based and comprehension questions using critical thinking skills and a solid conceptual knowledge, even though some of the questions were simple.

Paper Length

The paper was "considerably lengthy," according to criticism, and many people found it difficult to finish it in time.  It was noted that questions involving numbers and applications, especially in Section E and calculus, took a lot of time.

Variation Between Sets

Set 1 was generally seen as the easiest by both teachers and students, but Set 3 was more challenging. Certain sets contained particular problematic questions (e.g., an inaccurate graph in a Set 3 MCQ).

Be mindful of NCERT. The foundation of the CBSE exams is the first NCERT books.  Nearly 70–75% of the questions come straight from NCERT, either exactly as written or with only minor modifications.

Since difference, integration, and applications carry the most weight, mastering them can ensure a high grade

Divide the syllabus into small bits and designate specified study times for each topic.  Schedule regular revision and practice tests.  Stick to this timetable to cover the full syllabus efficiently.

Practice Under Timed Conditions

Use mock examinations to imitate the actual exam.  Set a timer for 3 hours, assign 15 minutes for reading the paper, then split time between portions based on merit to prevent overspending on any part.  This assists in tracking your progress and improving speed.

Two-Round Attempt Strategy

In the exam, rapidly finish questions you are confident about in the first round, then return for tough ones in the second round.  This enables efficient use of time and lowers stress.  

Minute-by-Minute Exam Approaches

First 15 minutes: Read the question paper, mark keywords, and plan your approach.

Next 20-30 minutes: Attempt easy/objective questions to build momentum.

30-40 minutes: Address short answer questions, sticking to concise responses.
