Ques. Who is eligible for Rajasthan NEET Counselling 2026 under the State Quota?

Ans: Candidates aspiring to admission under 85% Rajasthan State Quota shall be required to fulfill the eligibility criteria as laid down by the Rajasthan NEET UG Medical and Dental Admission/Counselling Board. Applicants should have qualified NEET UG 2026, should meet the minimum qualifying percentile and meet the domicile requirements of Rajasthan. Students who have completed their qualifying education from recognised schools in Rajasthan or meet the domicile conditions prescribed by the Counselling Authority are also eligible. Ques. How many counselling rounds are conducted in Rajasthan NEET Counselling 2026?

Ans: Usually, Rajasthan NEET Counselling 2026 is held in several rounds to fill all available MBBS and BDS seats. The counselling process generally comprises of Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up Round and Stray Vacancy Round. Ans: The Mop-Up Round is held after the conclusion of Round 1 and Round 2 to fill a large number of vacant MBBS and BDS seats. If seats remain vacant after the Mop-Up Round, the counselling authority conducts the Stray Vacancy Round, which is the last chance to fill the remaining seats. While both rounds are meant for filling the vacant seats, they differ in the eligibility conditions and participation rules. Candidates are advised to read the official notification of counselling thoroughly before attending any of the rounds.

Ans: There are 02 major quotas for MBBS admissions in Rajasthan. Out of the total seats, 15% seats are filled through the All India Quota (AIQ) counselling by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), while the remaining 85% seats are filled through the Rajasthan State Quota counselling. Ans: Stray Vacancy Round is conducted to fill the remaining vacant seats of MBBS and BDS after all the regular rounds of counselling are over. Only those candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned by the Rajasthan Counselling Board are allowed to participate. The allotment of seats is purely based on NEET Merit Rank, Category, Reservation policy and Seat Availability. Candidates allotted a seat in this round have to report to the allotted college within the stipulated time with the required original documents and admission fee to confirm their admission. If you do not report by the deadline, your allotted seat may be cancelled.
