• General, EWS and OBC-NCL students generally need at least 55% marks in the qualifying degree.
• Students belonging to SC, ST, PwD and other reserved categories are eligible with a minimum of 50% marks.
• Students appearing in the final year of their qualifying degree may also apply, subject to the prescribed conditions.
• There is no upper age limit for the JRF, subject to the age limit prescribed for the respective session.
