How Re-evaluation Marks Are Decided?

The outcome is decided based on the gap between old and new marks. Till 15% of the maximum marks, both the scores are averaged. A larger gap sends the answer book to a third examiner. Then the counting is done based on the average of the two closest.

Example: If a candidate initially scores 45 out of 100 marks and gets 55 marks after re-evaluation, the difference is 10 marks, leading to a final score of 50 marks.

The revised marks obtained through re-evaluation replace the original score, even if there is a reduction of marks. However, if re-evaluation is declared after the re-appear exam, the higher of two scores are regarded as final.
