How to Check Uttar Pradesh Counselling Results & Download Seat Allotment Letter

Candidates use NEET counselling in Uttar Pradesh to book a spot in a medical or dental college. The big steps between registration and the trip include locking preferences, filing requests and confirming the seat. You should remember to download the official seat allotment letter. This is issued by Uttar Pradesh Medical Recruitment Board as proof that Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh has said the college is ready to admit you, given the conditions of the agreement are met. 

From now on, I will describe to you how to get your letter from the web portal and then go on to format, print and deliver it to your school. It does not matter if you are in Round 1, Round 2 or Mop-Up when it comes to being prepared.

What You Need Before Checking Results

Currently, you only need the NEET roll number for 2025, your UP NEET registration number and the password you made during registration. It’s also very important to have reliable internet. Don’t worry if you forget your password; you can reset it using the registered mobile number or email.

Checking the Counselling Result

When the webpage is ready, search for “UG NEET Counselling 2025.” Look under the Seat Allotment Result and see which round you took part in. Then click on the correct round to begin.

Enter your NEET roll number, password and captcha code shown on the next page. When you press Login, you will see your currently granted seats displayed on your dashboard.

For those who got a seat, you will see your college’s name, your choice for MBBS or BDS, category (General, OBC, SC, ST, etc.), followed by the deadline to report to your college. Just remember that “Not Allotted” is normal if your result says so. As soon as your eligibility is met, you can join the next rounds or the Mop Up round.

Downloading the Seat Allotment Letter

As soon as a seat is given to you, download your seat allotment letter. Find the button marked “Download Seat Allotment Letter.” Once you click on this button, you’ll get a PDF file that either downloads or you can review it in another browser tab.  

You should both keep a copy and get a few printed versions. The letter can be asked for at admission and separately during checks on your college documents. Your details, information on where and what you’ll study, date to submit, category and a QR or barcode for validity will all appear in the letter. Give special consideration to the steps you should take after getting the letter.  

For some transactions, it is required that the security deposit is paid before you get the allotment letter or before you report. ₹30,000 is required for admission to government colleges and admission to private colleges costs ₹2,00,000. Customers can pay using net banking, UPI or a credit card. As soon as you pay for your fees, make sure you download and print the receipt to show at admission time.

Reporting to the Allotted College

They should make it a priority to visit the college by the deadlines given in the allotment letter after they have downloaded it and made the payments. This matters a lot. Late reports might cause the seat to be taken away. This offer may not come up again during the remainder of the auction.

In addition to your NEET scorecard, pack your admit card, rank letter, 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates, domicile certificate if you are from Uttar Pradesh, caste or EWS certificate as needed, a valid picture ID, passport sized photos, seat allotment letter and the receipt for your security deposit fee. It is considered helpful to keep a photocopy of each document with you, in addition to the original.

Some colleges will want you to submit documents like migration, transfer or an affidavit about your break. Visit the college website and contact their admissions department to know exactly what you are required to do.

What Happens After Admission

The college checks your documents once sent and your admission is provisionally confirmed at that point. Students who are happy with the college can stop the selection process by freezing their seat.

If selecting float or an upgrade interests you, you may do so when the next counselling round lets you choose. You can remain in your seat when you opt for Float, but you can still compete for a better spot in the next round. Upgrade means you can change your seat to one that fits your preferences, provided one is available.  

Again, your counselling dashboard will offer these menu items, but make sure to pick them by the stated deadline.  

In Case of Issues or Errors

Should anything go wrong with logging in, getting your letter or making payments, try using a new browser, clearing your cookie cache or switching to a different device. If your problem remains, the UP NEET website will have available contact numbers and email addresses for you. It’s helpful to use their services. If you find errors, take screenshots or make recordings, because this information helps the support team address the problem quickly.
