The additional counselling round has been scheduled following a Supreme Court order issued on October 29. The court extended the admission deadline and instructed KEA to conduct another round of seat allotment.

Which Students Can Participate in the Additional PGCET 2026 Round?

The following students are eligible to participate in the Karnataka PGCET 2026 extended counselling round for MBA, MCA, and MTech admissions:

• Students Without Seat Allotment: Those who did not receive a seat in any of the previous counselling rounds.
• Students Seeking Seat Upgradation: Those who have already reported to their allotted colleges but wish to secure admission to a higher-preference college or course.
• Students Who Cancelled Their Seats: Those who cancelled their previously allotted seats by paying the prescribed penalty.
• Previously Allotted Students (Conditional): Students allotted seats between October 13 and 15, 2026, but who neither paid the fees nor reported to their colleges, must complete the required formalities by October 31, 2026, at 6 PM. They can either report to the allotted college after fee payment or cancel the seat online by paying a penalty of ₹10,000.

Note: Students who fail to complete the required formalities within the specified deadline will not be eligible for the extended round. Fresh option entry is mandatory, as choices submitted during earlier rounds will not be considered.

Will Previous Option Entries Be Considered in the Extended Round?

Students taking part in the Karnataka PGCET 2026 extended counselling round are required to enter their preferred colleges and courses afresh. The options submitted during previous counselling rounds will not be considered or carried forward.
