“Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical Entrance Examination'' (KEAM - 2019) is a regulatory hub that administers admissions of numerous professional degree courses in Kerala, India. Office of the Commissioner of Entrance Exams (CEE) in the state government of Kerala has full control & authority over KEAM.
Kerala has allowed the students of Non-Kerala domicile background to proceed an admission for private medical colleges. The state covers 10 Govt. Colleges with 19 Pvt. colleges. Out of these colleges 910 seats are allocated for Govt. colleges while 2625 is given for Pvt. medical colleges.
NEET counselling is conducted in 4 stages namely Round 1st, Round 2nd, Mop up round, & Stray Round. Registration for KEAM was active only in the period of the first round of counselling. Physical verification of the document is not required at all before the inception of the counselling round.
Mop round: - It is a physical round in which the students are invited for the selection of the seats on the basis of availability of the seats.
Stray round: - It is organized by the related college provided by the number of available seats. Students need to formulate a DD & visit the college with requisite documents.
As per the examination conducted by Select Your University (SYU), Kerala is a relatively affordable place to study medicine related courses. The infrastructure in the colleges of Kerala is of highest standard and the amenities offered to the students are equivalent outstanding.
Our research clarifies the fact that the fees for medical colleges are still under budget compared to colleges of other states. The fault is well experienced cooperative towards the students.
Selection of appropriate colleges is the most crucial part of admission and there are some portion of the student who got to settle for less relevant colleges or even have to miss a year in spite scoring enough percentile in the entrance, because they lack the guidance required for giving preference to the college and the round of counselling.
We at SYU have supported an abundance of students to get their admission secure in the right choice of colleges. The most significant and primary motives behind the counselling process is to get the colleges suitable to the caliber of that particular student. The overwhelming nature of this process plus deficiency of knowledge can make it seem a daunting task and the chances of students ending up with compromised options increases even if they’d have scored well percentile in NEET.
The foremost step to start the process of counselling is to register with KEAM & make the payment of 2000 INR.
hen candidates are required to log into their respective account to check the seat matrix & to do the choice filling.
A seat will be allotted to the candidate as per his ranking of cut off, & his respective preference or priority of the colleges.
After an acceptance of the seats, the candidate needs to go on to report to the respective college as per his selection.
The next round of seat allotment will be conducted as per the schedule & then candidates can prepare themselves to be involved in the upcoming round of counselling.
Keep a printout of the memo of the allotment letter & remit of the fee which is payable to the commissioner of entrance examination, or instead make an online payment.
