MAT 2026: Things to Carry to the Exam Centre
Students must carry all the required documents and permitted items to the MAT exam centre on the day of the test. These documents are checked at the entry gate and during verification inside the examination hall. To avoid any last-minute issues, students should keep their admit card and ID proof ready a day before the exam. It is advisable to reach the centre at least 90 minutes before the exam, as the gates close 30 minutes before the test begins.
Items permitted inside the MAT exam centre:
- A printed copy of the MAT admit card.
- Students should carry at least two colour printouts on A4-size paper with the photograph affixed.
- One original government-issued photo ID, such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving Licence.
- One photocopy of the same photo ID for verification.
- A blue or black ballpoint pen for signing the attendance sheet and marking the answer sheet.
- Passport-size photographs, if additional copies are required at the centre.
- PwD students must carry their disability certificate and scribe certificate, as applicable.
- Students requiring food or medication during the exam should carry a medical certificate issued by a competent authority.
