NEET UG Re - Exam: National Testing Agency (NTA) will open the online module today, May 21, for fee refund. To get the NEET UG 2026 fee refund, students have to visit the NTA official website and submit their bank details.  

The NEET refund process is for students who have already paid the examination fee for NEET UG 2026. NTA has already mentioned that there are no extra chargers for the NEET Re-Exam 2026

After NTA activates the refund module, you have to submit your valid bank account details. The refund will be processed for the examination fee paid earlier. The dedicated module will be made available through the official NEET UG portal.

Why Is NTA Refunding NEET UG 2026 Fees?

NEET UG 2026 re-exam is being held after the earlier NEET UG exam was cancelled amid allegations of paper leak and other irregularities. More than 22 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the fresh test.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan had also said that the fees already paid by candidates would be refunded.

Once the NTA activate the refund module, students can follow these steps to submit their bank details for a fee refund:

  • Visit the official NEET UG website.

  • Enter valid bank account details carefully.
  • Verify all information before submitting.
  • Save or download the confirmation page for future reference.


Can Students Change Their NEET UG 2026 Exam City?

Yes. NTA has allowed students to update their current address and exam city preference due to relocation or a change in address. The exam city update window will remain active till May 21, 2026, up to 11:50 PM.

NTA has also clarified that the exam centre allotted for the re-exam may be different from the earlier centre. The allotment will depend on updated city choices and availability of centres.
