The Punjab NEET UG Counselling 2026 process is conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in participating medical and dental colleges in the state. Punjab has 1,900 MBBS seats across the listed government and private medical colleges. Government institutions account for a major share, including 250 seats each at Government Medical College Amritsar, Government Medical College Patiala and Guru Gobind Singh Medical College, Faridkot, while Dr. B.R. Ambedkar State Institute of Medical Sciences, Mohali has 100 seats.
