The Re-NEET UG 2026 provisional answer key was released on 25 June 2026, along with the activation of the answer key challenge facility.



After the objection window closes, the NTA will review all the challenges submitted by students and prepare the final answer key. The Re-NEET UG 2026 result will be declared based on the revised final answer key issued by the agency.

How Much Is the Re-NEET UG 2026 Answer Key Challenge Fee?

Students who wish to challenge the Re-NEET UG 2026 provisional answer key must pay a non-refundable processing fee of ₹200 per question while submitting their objections online.

According to the NTA, if a challenge is found to be valid after review by the panel of subject experts, the fee paid for that particular question will be refunded. However, objections submitted without the required processing fee will not be accepted for evaluation.

Things to Keep in Mind While Challenging the Answer Key

Students should keep the following guidelines in mind while submitting objections to the Re-NEET UG 2026 provisional answer key:

  • Objections can be submitted only through the online portal. 
  • Challenges sent via email, post, fax, or any other offline mode will not be accepted.
  • Students may challenge answers only for the Question Paper Series Code printed on the cover page of the test booklet they received after the June 21, 2026, examination.
  • If an objection is found to be valid, the revised answer will be applied uniformly across all question paper sets.
  • Students do not need to submit separate objections for the same question appearing under different series codes.

Students can follow the steps below to challenge the Re-NEET UG 2026 provisional answer key:

1. Visit the official website.

After the Answer Key Challenge: What's Next for Re-NEET UG 2026?

Once the objection window closes, all challenges submitted by students will be reviewed by a panel of subject experts. If any objection is found to be valid, the provisional answer key will be revised, and the corrected answer will be applied uniformly to all students.

The NTA has stated that it will not notify students individually about the acceptance or rejection of their objections. Instead, the agency will publish the final answer key after completing the evaluation of all challenges.

The NTA has informed students that the scanned OMR response sheets are not yet available, as the scanning process is still in progress. A separate window to access the scanned OMR sheets will be provided once the process is completed.
