Government Scholarships

These scholarships are for students in the medical field by the State of Andhra Pradesh to minority students on the basis of a few conditions stated by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Bharati Scheme of Education: Candidates need to fulfil the following criterias to avail this scholarship :

The applicant must be living in Andhra Pradesh. They should belong to a Brahmin family.
Candidates from both the Undergraduate Programmes and the Postgraduate Programmes can avail this scholarship.
The annual income of the applicant’s family must be less than ₹3 Lakhs. Candidates are granted an amount of ₹20,000 under this scholarship.
The candidate should not have accepted any monetary help except from Archaka Welfare Trust.

Chandranna Videshi Vidya Deevena Scheme: Candidates need to fulfil the following criterias to avail this scholarship :

The applicant must belong to the Kapu, Balija, Ontari and Telaga communities of Andhra Pradesh.
The annual income of the applicant’s family must be less than ₹ 6 Lakhs.
The applicant should not be more than 35 years of age.
Applicants from several countries like the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Australia, Singapore, Canada, New Zealand, Germany, the Netherlands, France, and China can also apply.
