Telangana NEET PG Counselling 2025 Round 1 Merit List Released

Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has released the Provisional merit list of Telangana NEET PG Counselling 2025 Round 1. The release has been made under the Competent Authority Quota. The KNRUHS list consists of 3,047 eligible candidates with three PwD candidates. NEET PG 2025 cutoff marks for the first round is from 664 to 235.

Eligibility and Changes

KNRUHS explained that it scrutinized all certificates uploaded then published the provisional merit list. The counselling process also found 285 candidates ineligible due to non-local status and incomplete documents. Telangana NEET PG merit list witnessed an unusual moment when a candidate with NEET PG rank 98 and a score of 665 (higher than the top scorer in the merit list) was declared ineligible. The reason was he did not meet the local status requirement of Telangana.
Three PwD applicants were confirmed eligible, while three others were ineligible. They failed to attend physical verification on 7 November.

Grievance Submission Open Till 14 November

KNRUHS has opened a grievance redressal window. Candidates that have been marked ineligible can email their issues with documents to knrpgadmissions@gmail.com by 5 PM on 14 November.
KNRUHS warned that late submissions will not be accepted. Once the university reviews all complaints, the final merit list will be released.

Management Quota Update: 15% Seats Open to All India

• 15% of Management Quota (MQ1) seats in private medical colleges in Telangana are now open for all India. 
• The remaining 85% MQ1 seats in minority and non-minority colleges will be reserved for local Telangana candidates, as before.
• The move has been announced following a government directive.

Registrations Reopened for Management Quota

KNRUHS has reopened NEET PG counselling registrations. Candidates who want admission to MD, MS, and PG Diploma under the management quota must register until 5 PM today.
