NDTV has reported that the National Testing Agency has come up with a new mental health and well-being measure, the Tele-Manas helpline for aspirants across India. This is a 24*7 national mental health support service to help the students in distress. 

Recently, the NTA has issued an advisory urging students to keep their mental well-being first over exams. According to the report of NDTV, this unprecedented move has been brought to reduce the stress and anxiety levels of the aspirants. 

On 26th April, the NTA officials released a public advisory addressing the stress and other mental health issues of the students taking preparation for the NEET exam. On their X handle, the NTA official acknowledged that the highly competitive nature of the NEET exam causes stress and anxiety among the applicants.
