Curriculum

The General Medicine (MBBS) program at Chechen State University is an extensive 6-year syllabus that follows the established medical guidelines of the world. It includes 3 major components of the 3 year long pre clinical, para clinical and clinical phases that are given below.

Phase

Description

Phases One and Two (Pre-clinical)

These 2 years introduces students to basic sciences of medical knowledge as applied to human beings, involving anatomy, medical biology, histology, cytology and chemistry.

Phase Three (Para-clinical)

The 3rd year will continue with the base sciences, however will add knowledge of mechanisms of the body and ways by which these mechanisms function when disease is present, such as knowledge of pathology (disease processes), pharmacology (drugs utilised to treat diseases), microbiology (organisms that cause disease), and pathophysiology (abnormal functions of the body systems and the effects).

Phase Four, Five and Six (Clinical)

During these past 3 years of the program, students will take part in clinical rotations in different specialties, involving internal medicine, pediatrics, surgery, neurology, obstetrics and gynecology and oncology.


During the program, students will take part in compulsory clinical clerkships at the state-affiliated hospitals to practice with the real patients presenting with real medical issues.

Eligibility 2026

Admissions 2026

International candidates who wish to apply for the 2026-27 academic session for MBBS can look at the Chechen State University admission process provided below.

  • Must have a valid passport NEET UG qualification (Indian students) and scanned copies of grades in Class 10 and 12.
  • Eligibility is checked depending on the submitted documents and after which candidates will get a Professional Admission Letter.
  • The University then contacts the Russian Government’s Ministry of Internal Affairs for obtaining the Study Invitation Letter after the admission letter receipt.
  • After getting the invitation letter, candidates have to contact the nearest Russian Embassy or Consulate to apply for Student visa and produce medical fitness certificate and HIV negative report.
  • After having the visa, candidates have to book their flights to arrive at Grozny and inform the university about the date of arrival to arrange the pick up of students from the airport.
  • After arriving on the campus, candidates have to show all original documents previously submitted to complete the final registration, pay the first year tuition and complete the medical exam as required as part of the enrollment process.

Required Documents
