Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery [MBBS]

• Students in the first and second year at Tula State University study fundamental disciplines such as Chemistry, Biology, and Histology, Latin, Human Anatomy, Microbiology and Virology, Biochemistry, and others.
• In the third and fourth year, new significant disciplines such as Propaedeutics of Internal Diseases, Pharmacology, Pathological Physiology, Faculty Therapy and General Surgery, Psychiatry and Narcology, Neurology, etc.
• Students completing the educational programs of higher medical education in General Medicine for three or more years, with positive academic outcomes, can work as nurses or paramedics to get calls for emergency medical care and transfer them to the mobile ambulance teams.
• In the fifth and sixth years, students focus on a subspecialty. By the end of the sixth year, students complete a pre-graduation internship.

Note: Candidates must note that those who do not speak Russian can take the pre-university course of Russian in 5 main fields, such as technical, humanitarian, economic, natural sciences, and biomedical ones.

• Complete 10+2 (Higher Secondary) education with 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, with English as a mandatory subject.
• Qualify for the NEET exam.
• Must be 17 years as of 31st December of the admission year.
• Clear the entrance exams by scoring 40 points in the Russian language, 47 points in Chemistry, and 47 points in Biology.
• Must have B1 level of Russian language proficiency.

Prospective candidates must submit the required admission documents for the MBBS program at Tula State University, as listed below.

• Past education certificate translated into Russian. The translation must be legalized properly (if required).
• A certificate that proves that the previous foreign education is recognized by the Russian Federation (if needed); it is issued by the Federal Education and Science Supervisory Service (www.nic.gov.ru).
• A medical certificate that provides proof of negative results on HIV and AIDS.
• Vaccination certificate from the medical records.
• 6 photographs (3x4 cm).
• Passport of the certificate holder translated into Russian; the translation must be legalized appropriately.
