Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to University) Dental College & Hospital was established in the year of 2005. The Institute has preclinical and paraclinical activities in order to cater educational needs. The Institute offers the B.D.S course for undergraduate students. The total intake of students admitted to Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College is 100. The college and the hospital is having a total area of 5.5 acres. Well equipped area, clinical sections and collaborative laboratories including international and national journals are associated with Institutes.
The college also conducts scientific and academic research programs by inviting the various experts from different fields for guiding the students and staff in ongoing research projects. The college has an Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC) which is registered with the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Government of India. There are some bulletins which are published every 2 months for highlighting academic and curricular activities performed by the students.
The main scenario of Institute is apart from providing course studies to students, it also educate them, to face competitive professional syllabus outside the Institute. The Institute facilitates the extracurricular activities of students to improve the ability to think laterally.
The college has spectacular central library having area of 6663 sq.ft. with around 7000 books, national and international journals. It has two reading halls, reference section, journal section, and storage. It also has internet facilities, e-library facilities to all the computers for the benefits of students.
The Bharati Vidyapeeth of Dental College conducts the Dental Camps at nearby areas for the benefit of the poor population. So, the students will get hands-on experience on no. of patients in presence of skilled doctors. Mostly, the Dental Camp is organized in rural areas.
