On 1st september, 2000, Vilniaus Kolegija University of Applied Sciences was established after the reorganization of three Vilnius higher schools: the school of electronics, economics and Trade.
Vilnius Higher school of Medicine and Buivydiskes Higher Agricultural school were reorganized and included in the structure of the college on 1st september, 2001.
Then, on 1st september, 2002 Vilnius Higher school of Pedagogy and Vilnius Higher school of Technology were integrated into Vilnius College.
Vilnius College Center for Art studies was established on 1st september, 2003.
The Faculty of Design and Technology of Vilnius College was established in 2006, which merged the Clothing study Center, the reorganized Vilnius Light Industry Higher school and the Technology study Center.
