Engineering college at Pune Institute of Computer Technology established in 1983 by the Society for Computer Technology and Research.
It has been one of the leading institutes in information technology education and research. It is accredited by NAAC and AICTE and it is affiliated to the University of Pune.
The college is well known for its UG and PG programs in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, and Electronics and telecommunication engineering. Ph.D. programs are also available in Engineering, and Electronics and telecommunication engineering.
This college was the first institute to introduce a Computer Engineering branch among private colleges in the Maharashtra state.
Creating versatile engineers who can apply their knowledge and skills anywhere in the world is the main aim of PICT’s engineering college.

In our college, we have tremendous placement opportunities, and tons of high class companies visit each year. Mess quality here is good. Hostels of our college are clean and spacious. We have the best faculty members for data analytics and computer networking. In our college, there are ample of scholarship opportunities if you need one. The crowd in our college is highly innovative, energetic and studious.
The premises of our college are sufficiently big to be called a "college campus". There's a very beautiful and lush green lawn inside the college gate. The college building is quite pleasing. Our college is said to have 'the best library amongst all the colleges under Pune University’. Pune Institute of Computer Technology (PICT) has a very good faculty majority of them having great knowledge about the subject, they have experience and they provide quality teaching. Many good companies like TCS, Infosys, Accenture visit our college campus.
Our college offers very good placements to its students. Average salary offered by the companies is around Rs.4 lakhs/per year. Our college comprises of a volleyball and basketball court including space for car parking, 8 buildings. The first 4 buildings are academic buildings, i.e., it has Smartclass, classrooms, computer/ electronic/ chemistry labs, etc. It also includes the seminar hall and a big auditorium. The college hostels are well equipped and they provide round-clock-security to students.
