Ques: when can i apply for Madhya pradesh NEET Counselling 2026?

Ans: The registration dates for Madhya Pradesh NEET Counselling 2026 will be announced by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh, after the declaration of the NEET UG 2026 result. Candidates should complete the online registration within the prescribed timeline to participate in the counselling process.

Ans: MP NEET Counselling 2026 is expected to be conducted in four rounds to fill MBBS and BDS seats across participating medical and dental colleges.

Ques: Can students from other states apply for medical seats in Madhya Pradesh? 

Ans: Yes. Some categories of seats are open for candidates of other states to apply in Madhya Pradesh. However, the seats under the State Quota are meant for those candidates who satisfy the domicile requirements of Madhya Pradesh.


Generally, non-domicile candidates are eligible to participate in the All India Quota (AIQ) counselling conducted by MCC and are also eligible for management quota or vacant seats as per the counselling guidelines.

Ques: Is a domicile certificate required for MP NEET Counselling?

Ans: Yes. Candidates who want to take admission under State Quota seats during MP NEET Counselling should have valid Madhya Pradesh domicile certificate.Candidates applying for State Quota benefits shall have to produce the prescribed domicile certificate at the time of document verification. Certain categories like management quota admissions may not require the domicile. 


Ques: Do I need an APAAR ID for MP NEET Counselling?

Ans: No. Usually, candidates do not need to provide an APAAR ID during the MP NEET Counselling process. What is important is that applicants have all the mandatory documents mentioned in the official counselling brochure like NEET Scorecard, Educational Certificates, Domicile Certificate (if applicable) and identity proof. 


Ques: Can I get a refund if I do not join the allotted seat?

Ans: The refund of counselling fee is governed by the counselling rules and the stage at which the candidate withdraws from the admission process. Candidates who do not join the allotted seat in the first round are eligible for a refund as per the guidelines applicable. However in the subsequent rounds the security deposit may be forfeited if the allotted seat is not joined. 


Ques: How can I upgrade my seat during MP NEET Counselling?

Ans: Candidates who are not satisfied with the college or course allotted to them can take part in the next counselling rounds for seat upgradation if they fulfil the applicable counselling rules.

In case of a better seat being allotted in any of the subsequent rounds, then the upgraded seat is offered as per the counselling guidelines. Candidates should report to the allotted institute and complete the prescribed admission procedure to remain eligible for upgradation.
