Process

The process is decentralized and conducted by two different authorities - DU and GGSIPU. The students are required to fill form separately for both the Counselling.

The process is centralized and conducted by MCC. The students can do registration for all the Indian medical colleges in one place.

Colleges

The students can only choose medical colleges of Delhi and IP University.

The students can choose from all participating government and deemed colleges across India in one place.

Number of Preferences Allowed

Preferences are limited and students must choose colleges carefully for seat upgradation.

The students must lock choices before deadline but IPU allows modifications until deadline and may allow real-time locking.
