NEET 2027 in CBT Mode: NTA to Conduct NEET UG Online from Next Year

The Education Minister, Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan, announced that the NEET 2027 exam will be conducted in CBT (Computer-Based Test) mode. The announcement was made public through the press conference along with the declaration of the NEET re-exam 2026 date. The Re NEET exam 2026 is going to be held in the traditional pen and paper mode on 21st June 2026. This major shift in NEET UG exam mode has been introduced in response to concerns over the recent NEET 2026 paper leak allegations and will be applicable from next year.

NEET UG 2027 in CBT Mode: Major Update

From next year onwards, the NEET UG exam will be conducted in CBT mode by NTA. This is considered one of the biggest steps the government took in the medical entrance examination system of India following the NEET 2026 paper leak controversy.
