NEET UG Admit Card 2026: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has announced free travel in Punjab Roadways buses for students who are appearing in NEET UG 2026. Students can travel free in Punjab buses from 20 June to 22 June 2026. 

This decision has been taken to help economically weaker students and students can reach their examination centres without worrying about travel expenses. 

The students only need the NEET UG admit card to travel free of cost in Punjab Roadways buses during the three-day examination period.

Decision Taken After Students Faced Travel Issues

The Free bus travel decision has been taken after many students shared their concerns regarding travel expenses.  Many students from financially weak backgrounds were struggling to arrange money for bus fare. Acting on the request, the Punjab government decided to allow free travel for NEET candidates in Punjab Roadways buses.

NEET UG Admit Card Valid for Free Bus Travel

As per the Punjab government announcement, students appearing for Re-NEET 2026 will not have to pay any fare to travel in buses. You just have to show your NEET admit card to get free bus service in Punjab. 

The Punjab government wants to ensure that no deserving student faces difficulty in appearing for the examination because of transportation costs.

• A valid photo ID proof
• Passport-size photographs, if required as per exam guidelines
