Odisha

The Odisha government has announced free bus travel for all candidates appearing in the NEET UG 2026 re-examination across the state. According to the government, nearly 56,983 candidates appearing at 134 examination centres are expected to benefit from the initiative. 

The measure aims to minimise heat-related challenges, assist students from economically weaker sections, and ensure hassle-free travel on the examination day. Candidates can avail of the facility through buses operated by the Odisha State Road Transport Corporation.


Andhra Pradesh

The Andhra Pradesh government has also announced free bus travel for students appearing for the NEET UG 2026 re-examination. Transport Minister M Ramprasad Reddy stated that candidates can travel free of cost on buses operated by the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation on June 21, 2026. 

To avail of the facility, students only need to present their NEET UG examination hall ticket while boarding the bus, and no separate registration or additional documents are required.


Delhi

The Delhi government has announced free travel for NEET UG 2026 candidates on buses operated by the Delhi Transport Corporation. Students can avail this facility simply by showing their admit cards on the exam day. The initiative has been introduced to ensure that candidates do not face any travel-related difficulties on this crucial examination day.

Punjab

The Punjab government has permitted free travel for NEET UG 2026 candidates on buses operated by Punjab Roadways Transport Corporation and Punbus services. Students can avail this facility from June 20 to June 22 by presenting their admit cards, which will be accepted as a free travel pass.


Uttarakhand

The Uttarakhand government has also announced free bus travel for NEET UG 2026 candidates who are permanent residents of the state. Students can travel without any cost in ordinary buses operated by the Uttarakhand Transport Corporation. The facility will be available from two days before the exam to two days after the examination. Candidates are required to show their admit card to avail of this benefit.


Other States

As per government announcements, states like Bihar and Haryana have previously introduced measures to support students appearing for major national-level entrance examinations.
