Eligibility 

Post-Matric Scholarship (Social Welfare Dept.)

• Annual family income should not exceed  ₹2.5 Lakhs per annum.

Post-Matric Scholarship (Backward Classes Welfare Dept.)

Financial assistance, including fee concession and potentially maintenance allowance. The amount varies based on the Backward Class category and course.

• Must be a resident of Karnataka.
• Belong to eligible Backward Classes categories (like Category-I, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B). 
• Pursuing post-matriculation courses, including MBBS.

Vidyasiri (Food and Accommodation Scholarship)

• Must be a resident of Karnataka.
• Belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) or Scheduled Tribe (ST) category.
• Must have successfully passed the final year/semester examination of their degree/professional course in the first attempt. 
• While primarily merit-based, general SC/ST eligibility criteria regarding domicile apply. 
• Income criteria might not be a primary factor for this specific award, but could be for overall eligibility for departmental schemes.

Arivu Education Loan Scheme (Minorities Devt. Corp.)

Provides an Education loan with a low-interest rate (currently around 2%). For MBBS, the loan amount can be up to ₹3,00,000. 

• Must be a resident of Karnataka.
• Belong to a religious Minority community (Muslim, Christian, Jain, Buddhist, Sikh, Parsi). 
• Must have secured admission to an eligible professional course like MBBS through the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) under the Government quota.
• The annual family income should not exceed ₹8,00,000.

Merit-cum-Means Scholarship (Minority Welfare Dept.)

• Must be pursuing technical or professional courses like MBBS.
