Qualifications

• 12 th (Higher Secondary) or diploma in biology, chemistry, and physics is required.  
• A minimum of 50% in PCM-B overall and 50% in Biology individually.  
• Although some sources recommend a minimum age of 17 by December 31 of the admission year, the upper limit may vary; the key goal is to satisfy entrance eligibility.  

Entrance exam 

• Required to take the National Testing Agency's (NTA) NEET UG exam.

Counseling 

• Participate in Kerala AYUSH NEET Counseling, which is run by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, following your NEET qualification.

• Reporting and Seat Assignment  If you are given a place at the college through CEE, you have to show up with your original documentation on the designated dates.

• Must possess a direct or graded BHMS degree from an accredited university that is connected with KUHS and approved by the appropriate regulatory body.  
• Age restriction: no older than 45 on January 1st of each year; SC/ST and homoeopathic educators may be exempt for up to five years. 

Entrance exam 

• Must pass the NBE's AIAPGET (All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test).

Details 

For Undergraduate (BHMS)

• Academic Requirement: Must have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) test or its equivalent with at least 50% of the possible points in Biology, and at least 50% of the possible points in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology combined.  Biotechnology is not a subject that can be substituted.  
• Entrance exam: Admission to the BHMS program requires passing the NEET UG entrance exam.  
• Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 17 by December 31 of the year of admission.  The official college website does not specify a precise upper age limit, so certain sources that suggest one (such as 25 years old) may not be accurate.

For postgraduate (MD Homeopathy)

• Educational qualification: Candidates must be certified by the Central Council of Homoeopathy (now the National Commission for Homoeopathy) with a BHMS (Direct or Graded) degree or an equivalent degree.  
• Requirement for Internship: Completing the one-year internship is required.  Candidates must provide their Medical Council registration certificate at the interview/allotment date and have completed their internship by then.  
• Limit on Attempts: Candidates cannot be admitted if they have passed the final year BHMS exam more than three times.  
• Age limit: The maximum age is 45 years old as of January 1st of the entrance year; however, candidates who are SC/ST and instructors at homoeopathic medical colleges are exempt from this requirement for up to five years.  Applicants must be Indian citizens.
