Overview

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) was established as an industrial training centre in 1992-1993. The Institute decided to start its undergraduate and postgraduate programs in 1997. As a result, courses such as Engineering, Management, and Computer Applications were introduced. In 2007, KIIT developed the School of Law, Biotechnology, Medical Sciences, Dental Sciences, Nursing, and Mass Communication, among other programs. It is currently recognised as a private university that offers doctoral, undergraduate, and postgraduate studies. 

The fees range from ₹1 lakh and it goes upto ₹20 Lakhs and its total depending on the course. It has NAAC certification with an 'A++' grade and is ranked 24th by NIRF 2025 in the medical category.
