Karaganda State Medical University offers scholarships to support the students and reward them based on their academic performance. The university offers a Rector’s scholarship to support and reward the high achieving students. The scholarship is for 2nd-year students with a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Rector’s Scholarship	Awarded to full-time students in years 2 to 7. Students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Must have no disciplinary sanctions. Should be actively involved in research, innovation, sports, creative, or social activities. Applicants must submit an application with supporting documents.	The amount is set by the University Board and may vary each academic year.
State Scholarship	Available to students studying under the state education order (government quota). Selection is based on rules and regulations set by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan.	The amount is determined by the Government of Kazakhstan
Vacant Educational Grants	Offered to citizens or residents competing for vacant government education grants. Selection is competitive and based on GPA and government quota rules.	Covers tuition fees under the state education scheme
