Karnataka State Open University (KSOU), Mysore, is a state public university established by an Act of the State Legislature in 1992 and came into existence on 1 June 1996. NAAC has accredited KSOU with an A+ grade. KSOU UG courses include B.Com, BA, B.Sc, B.Ed, BCA, BBA, B.Lib.L.Sc, and BSW programs. KSOU Mysore: Hostel
The University has constructed a well-equipped boys and girls hostel on the campus which can accommodate 56 students at a time. Each room can accommodate two students at a nominal rent of Rs. 50/- per person. Additionally, each student has to pay Rs. 250/- as a refundable caution deposit.
