The MIT Institute of Design (MITID) is a privately owned design institution that was founded in 2006 and is located in Pune, Maharashtra. MITID is a part of the MIT Art, Design, and Technology University (MIT-ADT University). It is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and sanctioned by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

MITID has a reputation for being the best in design education and learning through innovation. What is MITID known for? The institute mainly boasts of industry-based design programs, contemporary design laboratories, and highly qualified staff. It is a top institute in India in UI/UX design, product design, graphic design, and transportation design.
