The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) was established in 2007 and it is located in Hajipur, Bihar. It is an institute under the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India and was founded in 2007. The institute is AICTE-approved and NAAC-accredited with an 'A' grade. NIPER is one of the top engineering colleges in India. As per the NIRF 2025 ranking, the college ranks in 30th place in the pharmacy category.
