Admission Process

NKP  Nagpur admissions for MBBS are done based on their NEET-UG exam marks. The Maharashtra State NEET Counselling will be held by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell. Candidates have to register for counselling after qualifying for NEET, and during the counselling process, enter their preferred college and choose NKP Salve Institute. The seats are allotted on the basis of the NEET rank, category, availability of seats and counselling merit. Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility of candidates for admission to the National Kaveria (NKP) Salve Institute of Medical Sciences is as per the eligibility criterion laid down by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and the respective entrance examination conducting body. General category candidates must secure at least 50% marks in PCB, while reserved category candidates require 40%. Applicants must be at least 17 years old by 31 December of the admission year and qualify NEET-UG. 

MD (Doctor of Medicine)

Candidates must possess an MBBS degree recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). They must complete a one-year compulsory rotatory internship before the prescribed deadline and qualify NEET-PG. 

MS (Master of Surgery)

Applicants must hold an MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution, complete the mandatory internship, and obtain a valid NEET-PG score.
