Admission to the North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda and Homoeopathy is based on merit. The candidates' performance on the last qualifying test for admission is assessed by the school. The two courses offered by the North eastern Institute of Ayurveda and Homoeopathy include B.A.M.S. and BHMS.

1. Qualify NEET-UG

Appear in NEET-UG (NTA) and meet minimum qualifying percentile (50% for general, 40% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD).

2. Check Eligibility

Must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English.
Age between 17–25 yrs (relaxation for reserved categories) .
Meghalaya domicile (or children of specific government employees) .

3. Counseling Registration

Visit NEIAH’s official site and download the prospectus and application form .
Complete the offline form and attach required documents.
Pay application fee via DD (₹1,000 for general/OBC, ₹500 for SC/ST/PwD) .

NEIAH conducts state AYUSH counseling with an 85% state quota and 15% AIQ seats.
Based on NEET-UG All-India Rank, combined state-&-category lists are prepared.

6. Counseling & Verification

Attend offline counseling sessions for seat selection, document verification, and medical check-up .

Bring originals: 10th & 12th marksheets, NEET admit card & scorecard, domicile, category certificate, identity proof, medical certificate, etc.

7. Admission Confirmation

Upon seat allotment, pay admission and tuition fees, and report to NEIAH to complete the enrollment – receive the provisional admission letter.
