Samsi College in Malda follows merit-based admission policies for students who wish to study BA Honors and General programs alongside B.Sc. and B.Com. Students need to hold a 10+2/HSC qualification which includes English as a passing subject from any recognized board. Students must submit their applications through an online system while admission selection happens through examination results. Reserved category students claim their reserved seats based on government-established quotas for SC-22%, ST-6%, OBC-A-10% and OBC-B-7% and Physically Disabled applicants-3%. Students who pass the merit list qualifications can initiate the document verification and participate in the final admission procedures. Admission processes at the college function according to the procedures established by University of Gour Banga.
