Tambov State University provides various scholarship programs to talented and deserving students, with international applicants being included. These scholarships will help to mitigate the financial cost of studying in Russia and to promote academic excellence and participation in research.

The university offers merit scholarships to students who excel in their studies. These could be half tuition fees or monthly allowances on end-of-semester performance. More than that, pupils have an opportunity to receive the government-funded scholarships, including the ones provided by the Russian government, that might cover not only tuition costs, but also hostel room, and even a living allowance.

Social scholarships are also available to economically weak students or special groups, which guarantees everyone access to education. Research grants and financial incentives can be provided to students engaging in scientific projects and innovation activities in some departments.

Some scholarship programs often demand international students to apply via a government portal or the Russian embassy. In general, though scholarships are competitive and scarce, Tambov State University offers excellent financial assistance opportunities that can help students all over the world gain access to and afford quality education.
