University of Szeged Admission: Visa Process

If the candidates need a visa, they have to arrange an appointment at the Hungarian Consulate or Embassy and show their Admission Letter and payment proof of tuition fee (in many programs of SZTE, candidates are asked to pay the 1st 2 semesters (1 year)).

Non-EU or non-EEA students who arrive with no visa at this university will get their residence permit after handing in the documents listed below.

If students are not Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship holders and they are not exceeding their residence permit, then the procedural fee is 10000 HUF.
