To appear in the Gujarat Board Class X (SSC) exam, students should have passed Class IX in a recognized board and should have met the required minimum attendance, as Certified by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB). The candidate is not limited in terms of age to take the exam. Students are advised to do their preparation by reading the syllabus, doing past papers and time management.

Eligibility:

  • Passing Class 9: A student should meet the passing condition in Class 9 in a school affiliated to the Gujarat Board, or one affiliated to any other recognised board in India. 
  • Minimum Attendance: The students are required to perform the minimum attendance required by the GSEB. 
  • No Age Bar: No minimum and no maximum age to appear in the SSC exam.

Be aware of the format of the exam, the type of questions (MCQs, short answer, long answer) and weightage of sections.
