IIFT Eligibility Criteria 2026

Before applying for IIFT 2026, students must check the eligibility requirements for the MBA IB and MBA BA programs.

The eligibility details for respective courses are explained below.

MBA (International Business)

Nationality: Indian Citizens, NRIs, and foreign nationals can apply. Foreign applicants must submit valid documents to support their eligibility.

Eligibility Qualification: Students must have a bachelor’s degree of at least 3 years from a recognised university or college.

Minimum Marks:

  • General Category: Minimum 50% in Graduation.
  • SC/ST/PwD Category: Minimum 45% marks.

Final year students: Students appearing for their final year exams can also apply. They must submit their final degree or certificate when registering.

Age Limit: There is no upper age limit to apply for IIFT 2026.


MBA (Business Analytics)

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a bachelor's degree, B.Tech or B.E from a recognised institute.

Subject requirement: 

  • Mathematics or statistics must be one of the subjects at the graduation level.
  • Or mathematics must be studied at the 10+2 level.

Minimum Marks: At least 50% marks or 5.0 CGPA out of 10 in the qualifying degree.

Final Year students: Students appearing for their final year exams can also apply. They must submit their final degree or certificate when registering.

Age Limit: There is no upper age limit to apply for IIFT 2026.

IIFT Syllabus

The IIFT 2026 syllabus is made by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. It has four main sections: Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension. Quantitative Aptitude. Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning, and general knowledge. IIFT is one of the few MBA exams that also tests your knowledge of current events and general facts. The question checks your English, maths, reasoning, and awareness skills. These are important for doing well in an MBA course and help the institute see if you are ready for business studies.
