Incomplete Internship 

Internship completion after March 2026 is rejected. 

PG Students 

Candidates in their PG courses are not allowed to appear for NEET MDS unless the PG is complete.

National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery

NEET MDS Eligibility

To register for the exam, students must meet the following eligibility criteria: 

  • Educational Qualification: Students must have completed a Bachelor's in Dental Surgery recognised by the State Dental Council of India. 
  • Internship Requirements: Students must have completed or undergone a 12-month internship after a Bachelor's in Dental Surgery. The internship must be completed by March 2026 to be eligible to appear for the exam. 
  • Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for applying to NEET MDS 2026. 
  • Foreign Nationals: International students applying for NEET MDS must have clearance from the MHA.
