TANCET Eligibility Criteria 2025
To be eligible for the TANCET 2025 exams, the applicants should have a bachelor's degree of at least three years from a reputable university. The minimum percentage of marks that the general category students are required to score is 50%. In the case of candidates in the SC/SCA/ST category of Tamil Nadu, the aggregate of 45 per cent is the minimum. No limitation on age is imposed. Distance education students are allowed; however, the degree must be AICTE-approved.

M.E. / M.Tech. / M.Arch. / M.Plan | Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (B.E., B.Tech., B.Arch., B.Plan, MCA, M.Sc.) recognised by AICTE/UGC. Minimum 50% (Gen) or 45% (SC/ST/SCA of Tamil Nadu). |
GATE Qualified (Except XE, XL) | Exempted from TANCET. Must have a valid GATE score in the relevant discipline. |

TANCET Syllabus
