Overview
The Medical University of Lublin was founded on October 24, 1949, on the basis of the cabinet’s decree. The university offers education in general, medical, pharmaceutical and health sciences to their graduate and doctoral candidates. Students are also encouraged to join a training program held in public research centers.
The university has 7000 students of which 1000 are foreign students from 53 countries as of today. Specialization programs are offered by the Medical University of Lublin in medical analytics, biomedicine, physiotherapy, pharmacy, dental hygiene, dentistry, nursing, emergency medicine, public health.
The Central Council approves the programs of the Medical University of Lublin for Science and Higher Education of Poland. The founding of the Medical Academy Lublin Library at Szkolna 18 street took place in 2000.
